Description: ROM-Biomite is a combined biopesticide formulation based on entomopathogenic fungus, Hirsutella thompsonii and Verticillium lecanii. It is effective for the control of mite infestation in crops especially europhid mites in coconut. Spores of the fungus invade the soft body of the mite through the cuticle. They proliferate inside the insect body, sporulate and cause death. We are one of the leading bulk manufacturers of biopesticides in the country since 1995.

Specification: ROM-Biomite has a microbial count of not less than 2 x 109 CFU per gram/ml. It is available both in powder and liquid formulations and can be easily applied to the root zone. 

Dosage: Apply ROM-Biomite @ 5 kg (or) 500 ml per acre. Dissolve 5 kg (or) 500 ml in 250 liters of water and spray thoroughly drenching the entire canopy including under surface of leaf and stem surface. For control of eriophid mite of coconut, ROM-Biomite should be sprayed directly on all tender nuts immediately after setting of nuts. Spraying should be repeated at 10-15 days interval depending on disease severity.
